I am so excited! My mom and my grandma are coming this Friday to visit me! oh how i've missed them!
the great thing is that, my grandma got her visa today, and they're going tomorrow! so it's kind of a rush. and what makes it amazing is, 5 hours ago, i texted my mom asking about grandma's visa and she said it's not done yet. and an hour ago, i said out loud "God, give my grandma her visa, i miss her so much!" and my phone beeped, i thought it was sasha, but it was my mother. saying that my grandma's visa is done and they're ready to go.

i cannot be more excited!

aside from that, i already counted everything i need for going to the america to see anberlin and taking back sunday. (if my dad allows it, which i hope he will). and stephanie said the place she works in is now hiring, so i can find my luck there to earn money! yay!
and hopefully will have enough to get my main priority.
yes, taking back sunday and anberlin.

wish
me
luck
lovelies.

Um, hi.
It's been awhile since I wrote a decent update here. That's only because I don't really know what to write. Okay, let me try this.
School- it's not really that bad. I'm keeping up with everything fine, but the essays. God. I'm so not in the mood for writing 2000 words essay. Although, I already have everything I need. But the light hasn't shine yet.
Friends- got them. but this is australia babe. Not everyone lives in your town. I sometimes don't mind spending some time alone, I'm coping with loneliness just fine. And plus, like Sasha and I agreed, we need to stand on our own two feet. Never depend on anybody. Right Sha?
Health- Tired and having a little bit of a headache because of the rain. I didn't have any umbrella, so, yesterday, I walked to the bus stop and stood there for about 20 minutes in the rain, and after I got off, the rain was still going, so I walked to Deakin. As soon as I got to Chadstone, I bought an umbrella. And hopefully, will remember to bring it every time I leave the house. I often thought about how I never had to deal with this kind of situation in Jakarta.
Well, it's not like I'm going to have a driver and a car forever. Especially in this life that I've chosen.
Come to think of it, when we grow up, we're not going to have someone taking care of our every need, are we? We (at some point) have to take care of ourselves alone. House rent, food, transportation, laundry, and all of that. No more mom and dad to take care of those for us. So better start from now. I might turned out to be a spoiled brat living like she owns everything just 'coz my parents gave me everything I need if I stayed back home. Have to pay and do everything by myself here, really brought me back to my senses. I am no longer feel the need to envy the world of the riches.
Love- screw this one, shall we?
Food- I only need 4 foods and 4 food only. Tacos, Sushi, Burrito, and Cookies. I rest my case.
Money- I've applied to two places, unfortunately, they haven't respond, so for now, I don't have any job. But I better get one soon, I want to spend money without the guilt. Because right now... I'm using my parents money. And it's bad enough that they have to pay for my house rent and my college tuition. I'm just feeling a bit guilty when I use it for something else (clothes, etc). It will be better if I earn and use my own money. Don't you think?

And that's about it.
I actually cannot wait until mom and grandma visit me! I've missed them so much, and I do need to know the gossips from my mom.

a wish,

If you asked me a few days earlier, "What do you want for your birthday?" I know, I know it's too early, but if you asked me that, I'm going to say some cheesy things like maybe, happiness, or such.
But now, I know exactly what I want.
I want to go to :

Yes, there it is. My two most favorite band (Taking Back Sunday and Anberlin), in one concert.
A few months, no, like 5 or 6 months ago, I was told to make a magazine for our mass communication class and I had to do 2 ads. I made one ad for a concert, which is Taking Back Sunday and Anberlin's. Oh, it's coming true. It's coming true now. I guess, I can see the future. No, I can't. But anyway, coincidence! Or a lucky guess, either of that.

So there you have it, that's what I want for my birthday. May 19th people! May 19th!
Fingers crossed for a miracle!

and p.s : evvvverybody knows I love Anberlin. Especially if they know me in person. True?

A thing I've said.

"Since he doesn't have any experience worth writing, except all the party and rock shows and getting drunk, he has to make a stupid story like that. Poor him."

I bet you all know who I was talking about.

My teenage moment.

So, last friday, I went to Soundwave (finally) and had the best time ever. I met up with Diana there and watch a little part of Madina Lake and we went to see Alesana. I met Elise along the way. Alesana was awesome! I love their performance, it was so energetic! right after Alesana, we went back to stage 2 to see Less Than Jake, then we went to check the time table for signing bands. To my surprise, I got cramps and fell right in front of medical booth. embarrassing, i know. After that, I ran to stage 3 where I thought Bayside would be, only to realized that Bayside was on stage 6. So I have to ran back to stage 6 and saw Bayside. Right after Bayside, I went to Alesana's signing table. I only got them to sign my back and I didn't get any picture, because I was too nervous. Diana and I then went to stage one to see Forever The Sickest Kids! I was so pumped about it! I'm so excited to see them live! FTSK was great, and sooo amazing with the crowds! People jumped and mosh, it was getting hotter and hotter but it was fun! as the result of that amazing crowds, I got bruises. I stayed got front row for Anberlin! So was Elise! They were AMAZING, amazing, amazing, amazing!!!!! I waited for them for a little while, but they didn't came out so I went to line up for FTSK's signing. I was so nervous to meet them, I've been their fans since, february 2008 if I'm not mistaken. The first one was Caleb, I gave him the bracelet and he said "Aw you're so sweet" and then he kissed me (well on the cheek)! but enough to make me super nervous. Then I gave Jonathan a bracelet and he asked me "Do you know who made this?" and I said "No, because, I brought it from jakarta, Indonesia. I'm Indonesian." "Wow!! (high 5) I live in Indonesia too!" and of course, I didn't believe it. After meeting all of FTSK, I went to stage 5 to see Valencia, and got front row ♥ what I didn't know was, Nate from Anberlin was at stage 6! But that's alright because I get to see Valencia front row and I sang along to their every song! It feels so good to see them live because I love their album and I've been listening to it over and over since day 1 I bought it. You can see on my previous post that I posted their lyrics. After that I totally forgot what to do so I went to the merch stand and bought Anberlin & Valencia's shirts. What I forgot was, I had a ticket to see Maylene & Sons of Disasters at that exact time. So there goes my $2. I lined up for Valencia, and then added my embarrassment of the day, I got cramps in front of them. I am now, the singing-along-girl-with-cramps. Thank you cramps, I love you... not. And I have to sit first before I could walk again. When I could walk, I started walking towards the exit AND got cramps AGAIN, (see how much cramps loves me).
But over all Friday was the most amazing day I've ever had! To this date. period.
To this exact second, my whole body is still aching and plus, my feet still hurts so bad. This is the most terrible pain I've ever felt since.... I can't remember when. But tell you what, it was worth it.

I could relive today over and over and over again.
